Hello! My name is Danilo, an Italian photographer and yoga teacher.
Since spring 2014, I live in Heidelberg where I weekly give group and private yoga classes.
In almost 20 years of practice, yoga has been bringing a deeper and truer awareness to all I do, teaching me to remain stable in the most unstable situations. That's why I love to teach it!
My first encounter with yoga happened at the age of 17.
Thanks to my sister Stefania, who was already practicing yoga,
I enrolled in a Tao Yoga course before discovering, one year later,
the beauty of Kundalini Yoga.
At 24 I became a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher and enriched by this great experience I decided that 2009 would have been finally the time
to travel to the country where yoga comes from: India.
India is not an easy country to be explained, nor is it a place where to take a relaxing vacation with friends - it is a country which must be lived.
India makes you confront a reality which is often difficult.
Everything is true and contradictory at the same time.
India helps you to break your mental habits, it takes you away from the idea of material possessions forcing you to abandon your ego and to rediscover your real self.
The experience I had in India confirmed what I was already working on; the importance of investigating within yourself.
Since 2009 I have been returning to India once a year, every year, to study Yoga.
Finally in March 2017 I attended the Himalayan Yoga Teacher Certification in Rishikesh (India) and shortly after I started to teaching it
in Heidelberg.
